Fused Glass Art
Photo by Monica Wise Monica Wise
“Welcome to my world of glass art.”
My love for glass artistry began when I took a college class on glass fusing. My first pieces - large serving bowls -left me with enough glass to start making smaller accessories like earrings and pendants. I loved their unique look and so did the friends and family who received them for Christmas!
After many years as a painter and a graphic designer, I found Kiln Formed Glass Art to be a refreshing and exciting form of artistic expression. I am constantly surprised and captivated by its delicate brilliance and beautiful colors.
I was raised in Medellin, Colombian and graduated from Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles. Since my youth I’ve worked as an artist. My husband and I run an organic farm in Southern California. In my downtime, I find great happiness producing functional and beautiful art in my home studio.
My husband and I share our home with two lovely cats and any of our three children returning from visits around the world!
